Manage the Engineering and support services for the integration of electrical equipment into E-Houses.
Meet established engineering objectives within approved costs and timescale limits.
Act as a technical lead and approve design deliverables.
Work with the customer to shape and deliver solutions and seek customer feedback.
Maintain close contact with customers and project participants.
Ensure timely contract completion, customer satisfaction, and desired financial return.
Plan, monitor, coordinate, and execute complex engineering tasks including the technical and quality targets.
Develop and manage an engineering project plan, design reviews and approvals between ABB, sub supplying vendors, subcontractors, and the customer.
Develop status reports and modify plans or schedules as necessary.
Monitor the performance of subcontractors to ensure they fulfill their commitments.
Identify and pursue the resolution of problem areas likely to hinder progress of work or payment of work completed.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and skills.
More than 5 years relevant engineering experience in electrical power systems and project engineering.
Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, protections, controls, automation, and integration within Power Distribution Centers; familiarity with transformers, drives, motors, bus duct, cables, and associated equipment.
Ability to design and calculate electrical systems for integrated Power Distribution Centers, including cable sizing, conduit fill, voltage drop, breaker sizing, and overall HV–LV distribution.
Proficiency in creating, modifying, and reviewing electrical drawings (single-line, three-line, schematics, interconnections, wire lists) and validating vendor/customer designs, protection schemes, and metering.
Working knowledge of IEEE/ANSI, NEMA, NETA, API, PIP, NEC/NESC standards and codes.
Capable of influencing senior stakeholders and customers.
Basic understanding of battery storage, chargers, and UPS systems.
This role requires some overnight travel will vary up to 30%.
Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.
