Own and drive the overall business performance and revenue growth for Switzerland, with accountability for achieving or exceeding annual sales and profitability targets
Lead all sales motions across enterprise, commercial, partner ecosystem, consulting, cloud, and product-specialist organizations to ensure aligned go-to-market execution
Develop and execute the country strategy, balancing short-term business performance with long-term market growth and investment priorities
Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, including CIOs, CTOs, CEOs, CFOs, and business decision-makers across strategic customer accounts
Lead a consultative and value-based sales culture focused on solving customer business challenges through Red Hat technologies and solutions
Collaborate closely with EMEA leadership and regional stakeholders to align local execution with broader corporate priorities and growth objectives
Drive operational excellence through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and consistent use of CRM and sales governance processes
Lead and develop a high-performing team across sales, technical sales, and partner functions, fostering accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous development
Identify, attract, develop, and retain top talent while building strong succession and leadership capability within the organization
Champion customer success and advocate for the Swiss market internally to ensure alignment with customer needs and market dynamics
Strengthen and expand strategic partnerships and ecosystem engagement to accelerate market reach and growth opportunities
Collaborate with Marketing and Services teams to deliver integrated go-to-market initiatives and customer engagement strategies
Represent Red Hat externally with customers, partners, analysts, industry bodies, and media representatives
Promote and embody Red Hat’s culture, values, and commitment to open innovation
Requirements
10+ years of leadership experience in enterprise technology sales
Proven track record of managing and growing a significant enterprise business within Switzerland or the broader EMEA region
Demonstrated success leading high-performing direct and matrixed organizations with accountability for revenue growth and business performance
Strong understanding of enterprise software, hybrid cloud, AI, infrastructure, platform technologies, and partner-led go-to-market models
Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and engaging senior business and technology stakeholders
Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable execution plans
Proven ability to forecast accurately, manage pipelines effectively, and drive operational rigor
Experience working in a global technology organization with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Strong executive presence and ability to represent the organization externally
Fluency in English and German required; French would be highly advantageous
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business or technical degree preferred.
