Configure and implement AWS network components , including VPCs , subnets , routing and security groups , based on the architecture defined by the Solution Architect
Support the phased migration of services to the new network structure , ensuring connectivity , stability and minimal disruption
Analyze , refactor and optimize existing network configurations to reduce complexity and improve security posture
Validate network changes through connectivity testing , traffic verification and troubleshooting across services and environments
Work with DevOps Engineers to align network configuration with infrastructure automation and deployment processes
Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams to support migration , troubleshooting and handover activities
Provide practical feedback to the Solution Architect and project team when implementation findings require design clarification or adjustment
Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to resolve network-related dependencies and issues
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering or a similar networking-focused infrastructure role
Strong experience with AWS networking components
AWS Certified Advanced Networking is a plus
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting distributed cloud network environments
Good understanding of network security principles and access control
Experience supporting service migrations between environments
Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code , especially Terraform , and its role in network provisioning
Familiarity with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or Concourse
