The role of the EIT Community Officer (ECO) of Czechia encompasses three primary operational domains focused on local community development in business creation, innovation and education, as well as business development to the financial sustainability of the EIT Community and fundraising activities for the EIT Community Hub.
The ECO coordinates the collection of local funding opportunities and brings these to the attention of the EIT KICs and other relevant stakeholders.
Engage with prospective partners and stakeholders to identify and generate leads for the EIT Community KICs.
Deliver programme-specific communication activities, representing the EIT Community at third-party events through presentations, panel moderation, and facilitating other engagement activities.
Provide advisory, coaching services to applicants and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
University degree in Business, Economics, Health, Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Innovation Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, European affairs, or related fields, including experience as a project manager or key expert.
Minimum 1 year of experience working on an EU-funded project as a project manager or key expert.
Proven connection to and knowledge of the local innovation ecosystem, demonstrated through the delivery of innovation ecosystem development projects within the last 8 years.
Demonstrated knowledge of the EIT ecosystem and collaboration experience with EIT, EIT KICs, RIS Hubs, or related initiatives.
Proven experience in delivering networking services, including organising events, conducting studies, or providing services to international networks within the last 8 years.
C1-level proficiency in English and Czech.
Strong project management skills, including KPI monitoring, deliverable management, budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with public and private sector stakeholders.
