Support the management, maintenance, and security of enterprise IT systems in a federal environment

Requirements
Administer, maintain, and secure enterprise IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications
Ensure system availability, performance, and operational continuity through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
Implement and support system security controls in coordination with cybersecurity teams
Support system accreditation and compliance activities, including RMF-related requirements
Manage user access, permissions, and privileged account controls
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and system software
Perform system updates, patching, and vulnerability remediation activities
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations and standard operating procedures
Support mission-critical applications and enterprise systems
Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and support teams to ensure secure and efficient system operations
Provide technical support and resolve system incidents in a timely manner
Experience administering systems within secure or regulated environments
Demonstrated experience supporting system security, compliance, and operational continuity
Experience supporting federal or DoD IT environments
Familiarity with RMF, ATO processes, and system authorization requirements
Experience with enterprise environments, including virtualization, cloud platforms, or network infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system optimization skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a mission-focused environment
5 to 9 years of experience in systems administration, cybersecurity, or a related IT field
Candidates must possess certification(s) in one or more of the following areas: IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical): GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security IAM Level II (Information Assurance Management): CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP-CE, or CISSP (or Associate of CISSP) Cyber Defense (preferred but highly valued): CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH Operating System / Computing Environment Certification: Applicable Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) certification for systems requiring privileged access
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; OR Certification aligned with CNSSI 4012, 4013, 4014, 4015, or 4016; OR Associate degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
