Role Overview
- Support an Australian lighting design team producing lighting calculations and technical documentation for commercial projects using DIALux Evo and AutoCAD
- Preparing and modifying lighting calculation models and layouts
- Producing accurate technical reports and supporting documentation
- Reviewing architectural and electrical plans
- Ensuring designs align with applicable Australian standards and project requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience producing lighting calculations for Australian commercial projects
- Familiarity with the Australian National Construction Code (NCC)
- Advanced proficiency in DIALux Evo and solid AutoCAD skills
- Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and electrical plans
- High attention to detail and strong written English communication
- Ability to work independently and raise technical queries when clarification is required
- Experience supporting Australian electrical contractors, consultants, or lighting wholesalers (preferred)
- Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, AGi32, Relux, & Photometric Toolbox software (preferred)
- Experience working remotely within Australian business hours (preferred)
