Role Overview
- Create features across Kodiak's source code scanning platform
- Develop and manage distributed systems on AWS and Kubernetes
- Integrate AI and ML capabilities into the scanning platform
- Own and evolve the platform's interface
- Debug and resolve complex issues in distributed systems
- Shape technical direction and mentor teammates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience building services
- Proven ability to build and operate production-grade Python services
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems
- Hands-on experience creating cloud native services using container technologies
- Strong API design skills and experience building APIs
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience with automated dependency management tooling (e.g., Renovate) a plus
