Own and manage all direct procurement activities (hardware electronics, microelectronics, and related equipment)
Establish and negotiate contracts with key suppliers (T&Cs, pricing, payment terms, deadlines, quality requirements), reviewed by the Legal department
Build and maintain a qualified supplier panel to secure the supply chain
Define procurement specifications with operational teams prior to supplier selection, and act as owner across TQRCDE criteria (Technology, Quality, Responsibility, Compliance, Delay, Environment)
Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews and benchmarks
Define and implement procurement processes (direct & indirect) and internal communication frameworks
Build forecasts and a strategic procurement plan aligned with production and development roadmaps
Manage supplier risk, including export control compliance (mainly Europe)
Ensure best practices across all procurement activities, in close collaboration with Production, Development, Finance, and Legal teams
Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
5 to 10 years’ experience in direct procurement, with a focus on hardware electronics, microelectronics, or equipment for the microelectronics industry
International experience and exposure to cross-border supplier management
Mastery of direct procurement processes and negotiation techniques
ERP proficiency and understanding of procurement process flows
Fluent English (written and spoken), essential for international supplier management
Active listening and ability to translate engineering needs into procurement specifications
