Role Overview
- Deliver and administer core transactional and portfolio management functions
- Manage real estate projects and transactions
- Undertake research and analysis for real estate interests
- Utilize econometric models for site developments
- Develop and implement real estate policies and procedures
- Provide professional advice to City departments
- Represent the City at various committees
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulations
Requirements
- University Degree and training in Urban Planning, Economics, Business, or Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Experience in real estate transactions, negotiating property transfers
- Knowledge of Ontario Municipal Act, Planning Act, and relevant property legislation
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Project management experience in real estate and portfolio planning
- Research and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database applications
- Class G driver's licence valid in Ontario
