Graphic Design – Packaging Manager

Role Overview

• Manage the packaging and branding for several brands within Dreamwear.
• Recommend a visual representation of the concept for all new projects.
• Communicate the objectives both orally and visually.
• Maintain communication between business and creative types and review other designers' work.
• Execute design of garment hangtags, logos, mockups, production approval, and retouching of images.
• Fully responsible for the layout of packaging artwork across the team and understand die-lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive digital creativity, website, and trend sheets.

Requirements

• 5-7 years' experience working as a Packaging Designer; management or leadership experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Master at Adobe Suite: Illustrator & Photo Shop required; Premier a plus
• Must have a demonstrated ability to adapt brand guidelines to multiple uses; also need to have a strong eye for design aesthetics and visual details.
• Online portfolio that demonstrates a passion for design and attention to detail.
• Experience with Squarespace or CSS or HTML5 is a plus.
