Build the design system from scratch
Design interfaces for complex financial workflows: invoice processing, bank reconciliation, period-end close management
Work alongside the engineering team during implementation and ensure design fidelity in production
Participate in client conversations to validate design decisions with real users
Contribute to the visual direction of the product as it evolves toward a more conversational AI model

4+ years of product design experience
Portfolio that demonstrates visual judgment and product thinking — not just polished screens, but design decisions grounded in business context
Experience with SaaS or fintech products with high information density interfaces
Ability to operate as the sole designer in a small team with no prior structure
Figma proficiency
Fluent conversational English
Startup experience or genuine appetite for that pace
Use of AI tools in your workflow is a plus
