Coordinate and perform financial accounting and reporting functions for both the Mandan Refinery and Dickinson Renewable Fuels facility
Prepare monthly financial entries to properly account for refinery expenses and other financial activity
Participate in monthly financial closeout activities for assigned areas of responsibility, including month end account reconciliations and execution of SOX controls
Analyze actual results and prepare reports as necessary for assigned areas of responsibility
Participate in the development of refinery’s annual expense budget and monthly updates, and the analysis of actual versus budgeted expenditures
Assist in the implementation of new procedures and accounting systems, or financial applications as they arise
Assist in special projects assigned and provide back-up for other accounting functions as required
Participate in the completion of the biennial Solomon Benchmarking Survey
