Perform hands-on discovery and data collection to understand the client environment
Develop and refine cost models
Facilitate discussions on technical challenges, business objectives, success metrics and financial considerations
Present clear, compelling cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders
Collaborate with solutions architects and Sales teams
Provide thought leadership on cloud adoption
Support colleagues through mentoring
Work with Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, and AWS, Azure and GCP account teams
Organize immersion days and lead ideation sessions
Requirements
At least 5 years of multidisciplinary IT experience in areas such as cloud architecture, application management, database administration and systems administration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated passion for thought leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset
Deep understanding of operational factors, success metrics and customer focus
Experience in direct customer interactions, including presenting to and responding to questions from middle and senior executives
Experience in pre-sales, service delivery or commercialization
Knowledge of cloud economics, cost modeling and the financial impacts of design decisions
Familiarity with migration strategies, including rehosting, infrastructure and application modernization
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Extensive on-premises IT knowledge, including bare-metal devices, virtualization (e.g., VMware), networking, security, storage and backup
