About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and scalability of the platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in software delivery.
- Identify and remediate security issues within the infrastructure to ensure the protection of sensitive data.
- Create and maintain documentation and guides for using and maintaining the platform.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GitLab CI
- Solid experience with Docker and containerization
- Hands-on experience with build and release automation
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, debugging, Helm)
- Understanding of automated testing in a CI/CD context (integration testing desirable)
- Excellent German and English skills
- Experience deploying to Debian or Ubuntu
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Python and/or Bash skills for scripting and tooling
- Experience modernizing legacy systems
- Operational understanding (customer-facing operations, updates, monitoring, stability)
