Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

• Leads project teams by setting direction, allocating tasks, and motivating internal and external resources to achieve milestones.
• Provides oversight and performance feedback for all project resources.
• Develops and manages project plans, including scope, schedules, financials, and risk management.
• Ensures projects follow best practices and ABB policies while monitoring progress, resource utilization, and overall performance.
• Manages project financials, including invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
• Identifies and manages risks and opportunities, attends key client meetings and FATs, and captures lessons learned.
• Oversees contract, claims, procurement, and project close-out, ensuring customer acceptance and compliance with agreements.
• Acts as the main customer contact, maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering Qualification or significant industry experience, preferably with a knowledge of Motors and Variable Speed Drives.
• 10 years of Project Management Experience
• Project Manager Certification
• Microsoft Project and Excel proficiency; SAP skills would be a plus
• Team building skills and established Project Team leadership experience
• Autonomous leadership and ability to prioritize
• Independent self-starter
• English fluency required.
