You are responsible for tax accounting and reporting across multiple countries (Germany, Romania, Brazil, Lithuania and Denmark). You ensure that IFRS and local requirements are fully, correctly and consistently complied with.
You take ownership of tax accruals and continuously develop them, including effective tax rate, deferred taxes and relevant disclosure requirements in reporting.
You support monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring an accurate and continuous reconciliation from local HGB (German GAAP) to IFRS.
In close coordination with the Vodafone Group Tax function, you help harmonize policies, processes and reporting standards.
You identify, assess and manage tax risks at an early stage — from tax filings and uncertainties in tax positions to impacts of strategic business decisions.
You prepare complex tax matters for the target audience, present them to stakeholders and support (external) advisors during reviews and audits.
Overall responsibility for IFRS reporting and compliance completes your remit.

A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Several years of experience in Tax Accounting, Financial Reporting or International Tax, ideally within an international corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of international tax law and a solid understanding of German corporate law.
Confident and proven expertise in IFRS tax accounting as well as closing and reporting processes.
Business-fluent/professional proficiency in English and German to communicate confidently in an international context.

Nice to have

Qualification as a tax advisor or certified public accountant is a plus but not required.
Experience developing tax accounting controls or IFRS reporting processes.
Exposure to digitization or transformation projects in the Finance/Tax area.
Practical experience with ERP systems or consolidation tools.
Experience in international group structures or shared service environments.
