Ensure continuity of supply of externally sourced materials and components to manufacturing sites in line with production requirements
Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders and provide escalation management
Implementation, monitoring and reporting of team performance against processes, procedures & objectives
Focus on continuous improvement to improve productivity and mitigate unplanned delays
Lead, develop, and coach the production procurement team
Drive the ongoing development and improvement of procurement strategies & procedures
Monitor and evaluate supply chains and market information to ensure competitiveness and robustness
Support the implementation of the procurement strategy

Experience of managing, driving, and developing supplier and stakeholder relationships within a complex technical/regulated environment
Mentoring or coaching experience, achieving success and developing junior members of a team
Successful record of negotiating with suppliers to meet organisational targets
Experience of implementing various approaches and strategies to meet functional objectives and KPIs
High standard of ethics and integrity
CIPS qualification or relevant STEM/Business Degree would be advantageous, but not essential.
