Design and orchestrate near real-time data ingestion from client databases (CDC, AWS DMS, GCP Datastream, Azure Data Factory/Fabric, etc.)
Define and implement a single source of truth for key fashion KPIs using SQL and transformation tools (dbt, Dataform, etc.)
Own performance and scalability so that everything goes faster.
Architect caching and performance layers to support fast, reliable dashboards across 300+ clients, making pragmatic trade-offs between cost, latency and complexity.
Design and maintain serverless APIs (e.g. Lambda, Cloud Run) that power the frontend experience.
Evaluate, ingest, and integrate new third-party data sources alongside existing datasets.
Requirements
Experience building and owning data platforms or products from scratch, including making architectural decisions.
Expert-level SQL and strong experience modelling complex business domains.
Proven ability to design scalable data systems in a cloud-native environment (AWS, GCP, or similar.)
Comfortable making independent technical decisions within a product context, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
