Identify and generate new business opportunities, as well as nurture marketing qualified leads.
Build relationships with prospects, qualify their needs, and collaborate with internal and external resources in order to grow revenue.
Work from various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking and events to identify potential leads and generate new business opportunities.
Conduct thoughtful research to understand prospect's industry, pain points, and business needs.
Engage in conversations to qualify leads, identify decision-makers, and gather relevant information.
Establish and maintain relationships with potential customers through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their unique requirements.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and provide valuable insights to enhance the sales process.
Execute strategic inbound and outbound sales activities to engage prospects and set up meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
Update and maintain accurate records of lead interactions, progress, and status in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Requirements
Previous experience in a B2B sales development or lead generation role is required, ideally within a cybersecurity SaaS environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and articulate product features and benefits effectively.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential customers.
Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to thrive in an evolving environment and quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of leads effectively.
Proficient in using CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other relevant sales software.
Ability to Travel: Approximately 20% (1-3 trips per quarter on average).
