Design & develop analog, digital, mixed signal and power circuits used in Ivenix designed products
Build and test prototypes to verify design function
Perform and document failure analysis of returned product
Investigate new technologies and best practices
Optimize designs for low-cost, high quality, high reliability and high-volume assembly
Work with customers and/or vendors as needed regarding technical issues
Work cross-functionally with internal and external resources during design, prototyping, and transfer to manufacturing activities
Establish engineering design documentation
Prepare technical records and files, including engineering changes
Focus design efforts around improved performance and reduced complexity
Create artifacts in support of design, redesign, prototype, and transfer to manufacturing activities
Perform other related duties as assigned

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience as an electrical design engineer on product development teams
1+ years of experience developing within a regulated environment (Medical, Aerospace, Military)
Experience designing schematics in Altium or other Schematic capture system
Familiarity with regulations governing electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility and the activities necessary to achieve IEC60601 certification
Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice
