Role Overview
- Serves as a statistical department resource
- Conducts training sessions for new hires
- Prepares Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- Reviews SAS annotated case report forms (CRFs)
- Directs activities of other biostatistics personnel
- Provides independent review of project work
- Supports business development activities
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Mentors biostatisticians on job skills
- Oversees or develop training plans or materials for Biostatistics associates
- Conducts training sessions or trains new hires
- Prepares Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- Responsible for the statistical aspects of the protocol
- Reviews SAS annotated case report forms (CRFs)
- Creates or reviews programming specifications for analysis datasets
- Directs activities of other biostatistics personnel
- Provides independent review of project work
- Manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects
- Identifies out of scope tasks and escalates to management
- Provides statistical programming support as needed
