Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, expense management, and month-end close.
Own invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and cash tracking.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Coordinate payroll-related accounting and employee reimbursements.
Partner with external accountants on taxes, audits, and compliance filings.
Improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and operational processes.
Assist with procurement, software/vendor tracking, and operational finance projects.
Help build scalable finance processes as the company grows.
Requirements
4+ years of accounting experience in a software company.
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
Comfortable handling AP/AR, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with accounting and finance systems such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Stripe, Salesforce, and similar business platforms.
Experience supporting Canadian and/or US entities is a plus.
CPA designation (or in progress) is a plus.
Startup or SaaS experience is preferred.
