Lead cross-functional optimization projects focused on warehouse operations, material flow, labor productivity, inventory movement, and operational efficiency.
Partner with operations leadership and frontline teams to identify process bottlenecks, flow disruptors, and operational pain points.
Analyze current-state workflows and develop data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve operational performance and decision-making.
Support warehouse layout optimization, slotting strategies, storage utilization, and labor balancing initiatives.
Develop project plans, timelines, business cases, and implementation strategies for operational improvements.
Coordinate with IT, engineering, warehouse systems, and operational stakeholders to execute improvement initiatives.
Monitor project performance, KPIs, and ROI metrics to ensure expected benefits are achieved.
Facilitate change management activities and support operational adoption of new processes and technologies.
Conduct operational studies related to throughput, travel reduction, staffing models, productivity, and process standardization.
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership teams in a clear and professional manner.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support business operations and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
5 years of experience leading operational optimization or continuous improvement projects
Warehouse leadership experience or direct warehouse operations experience
Strong experience within distribution center, warehouse, or supply chain operations environments
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into actionable process improvements
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
