Senior Consultant, Internal Audit

Role Overview

• Support the execution and delivery of internal audits and related assurance projects
• Collaborate with internal and co-sourced Internal Audit staff
• Work with Fraud Management and Investigations team
• Support the delivery of risk-based audits aligned to nbn’s Internal Audit methodology and strategic audit plan
• Integral in the delivery of ad hoc complex assurance projects
• Build trusted relationships across Internal Audit, co-source partners, and the business

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in internal audit risk assurance, external audit, or similar controls-focused role
• Successfully delivered end-to-end risk-based audits across a range of enterprise disciplines
• Comfortable assessing control design and operating effectiveness
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CA, CPA, or CISA, or commitment to complete one within 12 months
• Experience with data analysis tools
• Understanding of frameworks like COSO
