Senior DevOps Engineer serves as an experienced individual contributor within a team
You will be responsible for supporting the goal of meeting scope, schedule and delivery requirements
Impacts the long-term goals of the program while contributing to the development of the programs DevOps and software engineering strategy
May serve as the disciplines primary lead when working with stakeholders
Utilize strong influential skills to drive improvements in software engineering processes and practices
Strong influential skills to collaborate across teams to consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services
Serves as a mentor to individuals within the team
Presents design documents, system diagrams, etc. to clients, stakeholders, partners, and other engineers
Capable of self-directed cloud infrastructure design and pipeline design
Builds libraries, modules, and packages for other infrastructure engineers to integrate with their projects
Develops CI/CD processes to help deliver software of higher quality at greater speed
Proactively works with government partners to ensure shipping of compliant software

Bachelors degree with 3+ years of relevant experience (or 7+ years of total relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Proven expertise in test development, monitoring/instrumentation, analytics, and deployment pipeline optimization
Demonstrated ability to enhance the developer experience by automating release processes and building modern development tools
Hands-on experience deploying, managing, or migrating applications within AWS or cloud.gov (preferred)
Experience navigating federal compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, ATO processes) alongside government partners (preferred)
Familiarity with JavaScript, Node.js, Postgres, and observability tooling (preferred)
