Assist in month-end close, including accruals, analysis, account reconciliations, allocations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
Analyze, book and forecast revenue. Includes verifying revenue recognition.
Participate in planning/forecasting cycles for all assigned accounts, including management reporting.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
Assist with sales and income tax returns and processing payments.
Supports internal and external information requests including; banking, tax, and audit.
Assist in the administration of accounting ran platforms (RAMP, NAVAN, Certify, ADP, Adaptive, Pento).
Monitor and review general ledger account activity for adherence to company policies and accounting controls.
Assist in treasury/banking activities, which may include bank account reconciliations, debt compliance reporting, and resolution of reconciliation issues.
Assist in year-end 1099 preparation, as needed.
Lead or participate in process improvements, department projects, or system enhancements, leveraging AI.
Maintains orderly, accurate and complete documentation in support of assigned work responsibilities and retention requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
3+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, including financial statement preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must take initiative, be self-motivated, be dependable with a positive, energetic approach.
