Answer and resolve patient inquiries within committed time frames
Understand the physical, psychological, and social challenges of specific disease states
Assist patients with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues
Promote drug compliance
Report all adverse events related to drug therapy and pharmacy care
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with physician practices
Participate in the administration of patients' pharmacy care plans
Troubleshoot and resolve patient and payer issues promptly
Work in a team-structured environment to provide support to other healthcare team members
Maintain current notes and documentation related to patients' drug therapy
Requirements
Requires a high school diploma
Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, physician's office, or social service environment
Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations through completion of a two-year associates degree or equivalent experience and education
Strong time management and organizational skills
