Role Overview
- Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements
- Manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Create outstanding experiences for our customers, turning stressful situations into positive moments
- Operate within your authority, using judgment to resolve claims efficiently
- Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to all protocols
- Work closely with various teams to produce good claims outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5+ years of previous claims adjusting experience
- Genuine interest in Lifestyle claims (e.g., cottage properties, watercraft)
- Progress toward or completion of Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP)
- A post-secondary diploma or degree
- Provincial licenses for Atlantic provinces
- Experience with handling watercraft or habitational claims in excess of $100,000.00
