Design and implement internal platforms, systems, and automation frameworks in line with defined direction and priorities
Identify workflow inefficiencies and contribute to solution design, aligned with architectural direction
Build and maintain automation workflows, integrations, and services across internal and third-party systems
Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Execute end-to-end delivery of solutions, from implementation through to deployment and iteration
Develop internal tooling and abstractions that simplify complex processes for business users
Ensure systems are performant, reliable, and maintainable over time
Contribute to modernization efforts, including improving or replacing existing systems
Apply established standards, patterns, and guardrails across all implementations
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to maintain reliability and performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement aligned solutions
Document systems, workflows, and implementation details to support scalability and maintainability

Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (e.g. variables, functions, control flow, and basic data structures)
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development practices
Experience building applications using TypeScript and a React-based framework (Next.js preferred)
Ability to design, build, debug, and iterate on applications, scripts, and automation workflows
Strong focus on building systems that are performant, efficient, and maintainable over time
Familiarity with automation concepts and integrating APIs or third-party services
Experience building internal tools or workflow-based systems
Practical use of artificial intelligence tools to assist in the development of systems and automations
Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
Understanding of deployment processes, release management, and environment separation (e.g. dev/staging/production)
Experience with version control systems (GitHub preferred)
Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar ticketing/workflow systems
Understanding of Agile or iterative delivery approaches
