You are responsible for the stable operation, security and ongoing development of the SAP system landscape at the Basis level.
You are the technical constant in the background — nothing runs without you, and the company knows it.
As the central interface between SAP application teams, IT infrastructure and external partners, you ensure the platform remains performant, secure and future-proof.
Responsibility for the stable operation of the SAP system landscape including S/4HANA, Solution Manager and adjacent systems
System administration: installations, upgrades, patches, transport system (TMS), client management
Performance monitoring, error analysis and troubleshooting at the system level
Management of user and role concepts including SAP authorization management
Ensuring system security, auditability and compliance requirements
Implementation of SAP security notes and patch management
Participation in S/4HANA migrations, system consolidations or cloud transitions (SAP BTP, RISE with SAP)
Building and maintaining system landscapes for development, test and production
Managing external Basis service providers and hyperscaler partners

Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration — ideally already in an S/4HANA environment
Solid knowledge in: SAP system administration (ABAP stack), transport management, user administration and performance analysis
Experience with SAP HANA database administration is an advantage
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system environments and basic network and storage infrastructure
Experience with SAP BTP or RISE with SAP is a plus — but not mandatory
Structured, resilient way of working — calm and composed with an overview even in critical situations
Strong communication skills at eye level — with application teams as well as IT infrastructure and external partners
Fluent in German, spoken and written
Authorization to work in Switzerland
