Design target-state cloud architectures on GCP, including landing zones, networking, identity, security, observability and integration patterns.
Provide architectural guidance and governance for application and platform teams, ensuring solutions comply with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
Define reusable architecture blueprints and reference implementations for infrastructure, deployment automation, resilience, scalability and cost efficiency.
Drive cloud security architecture, including IAM concepts, segmentation, encryption, secret handling and policy enforcement across GCP services.
Collaborate with stakeholders across development, operations, security and business teams to support cloud transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or comparable professional experience in cloud architecture.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform, with strong understanding of networking, IAM, compute, storage and managed services.
Experience in positioning BigQuery as a central data platform
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, landing zones, security-by-design, disaster recovery, resilience and cost optimization.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and familiarity with CI/CD, automation and governance frameworks.
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into architecture decisions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Very good English communication skills; experience in regulated environments such as banking or finance is an advantage.
