Execute and validate calculation procedures related to payroll, labor charges and social security contributions
Submit annual tax and labor filings/obligations
Analyze payroll reports and provisions, including 13th salary provisions
Configure payroll events in the payroll system and perform annual table updates
Evaluate and propose improvements for the area, including process automation
Support and act in labor proceedings as company representative (preposto), as well as in inspections and audits
Analyze and provide management reports for leadership, audits and inspections
Advise company leaders on matters related to labor legislation
Responsible for monitoring payroll department processes such as payroll and charges (and reporting results to controllership), hiring, termination, timekeeping and hour bank, leaves of absence, benefits, vacations, and international payroll
Responsible for controlling and updating information about collective bargaining agreements with unions, and handling labor relations tasks such as data collection and spreadsheet preparation
Serve as point of contact for employees regarding payroll/personnel queries
Provide support and guidance to leaders on people strategy
Monitor existing automated processes in the area, identifying problems and implementing solutions
Schedule, request and monitor updates to system databases (Senior and Production)
Support the evaluation of vendors that provide the company’s benefits
Requirements
Bachelor's degree completed or in progress (related fields)
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
Knowledge of payroll calculations, procedures and HR policies; labor legislation
