Senior Security Consultant – AI

Role Overview

• Shape how nbn approaches security in an evolving AI-driven landscape
• Support emerging use cases, including Generative AI, agentic systems
• Influence how AI security risks are identified, governed, and managed
• Enable safe and effective adoption of new capabilities across the business
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to embed security into solution design and delivery
• Assess risks, guide control implementation, and inform decision-making

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, cyber security, or related field
• Certifications such as CAISF or CAISE highly regarded
• Over seven years’ experience in security governance, risk and compliance within large, complex environments
• Strong focus on architectural controls
• Solid understanding of frameworks such as PSPF, NIST, Essential 8, and emerging AI standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, NIST AI RMF)
• Knowledge of evolving security threats and end-to-end security design
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, interpret emerging threats
• Strong communication and influencing skills
