ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting
responsible for understanding account balances, completing reconciliations, performing data analysis and supporting the companies assigned to their team and manager
understands and explains all aspects of the accounting process
performs routine and non-routine accounting tasks requiring in-depth analysis
acts as an accounting technical resource to others
provides expertise in applying generally accepted accounting principles to all phases of accounting operations
responsible for in-depth analysis of accounting tasks, critical accounting entries and financial statement review
may have responsibility for the month-end close of a company
may act as a mentor to other members of accounting
may have responsibility for training, coordinating, and reviewing work of others
may be a project lead or perform supervisory duties
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
Demonstrated progressive accounting experience.
Master’s of Accountancy or Business Administration is preferred.
CPA license is preferred.
Strong experience with healthcare accounting preferred.
Strong experience with analytics and advanced excel preferred.
