About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee the design, development, and validation of software for embedded systems
- Ensure compliance with FDA requirements
- Design and implement software in current programming languages (e.g. C, C++, C#, python)
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed design and interface specifications
- Participate in the implementation, development, enhancements, and modifications to software
- Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software problems
- Assist in the evaluation of selected designs through testing and documentation of results
- Follow approved Design Control procedures for software development in accordance with FDA guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 4+ years of related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong familiarity with current development tools (IDEs, debuggers, unit test frameworks)
