Actively learn and champion the adoption of new systems and processes.
Overseeing the effective running of AP, AR and weekly payment runs.
Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and helping turn numbers into meaningful business insights.
Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, payment providers, and intercompany balances to ensure accuracy and control.
Supporting month-end activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitoring stock, cost of goods sold, and expenses to help us understand and improve business performance.
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and providing visibility on financial performance and trends.
Supporting VAT returns, audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, automate manual tasks, and help us scale more effectively.
Partnering with teams across the business to provide financial support, challenge thinking, and drive better decision-making.

Experience in a finance or accounting role with exposure to bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and actively studying.
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls.
Confidence working with journals, reconciliations, and management reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
Strong Google Sheets (Excel) skills and confidence working with finance systems.
A naturally curious mindset and a desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
