About this role
Role Overview
Provide processing and administrative support to the Finance function of the Bank.
Support with a broad range of finance activities including bank reconciliations, invoice processing, accounting administration, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
Work closely with experienced finance professionals to develop your accounting knowledge and gain practical experience within a regulated financial services environment.
Requirements
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent). A-levels, BTEC or equivalent qualification.
Commitment to studying towards an AAT qualification.
Previous finance, administration or office-based work experience.
AAT studies already commenced.
Good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Experience of working with financial systems.
Experience in a regulated or professional services environment.
