Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to support the ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery of data across multiple systems and platforms.
Manage and optimise enterprise data environments, including cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Azure Synapse.
Collaborate closely with Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned to business objectives.
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
Automate data integration, orchestration, and monitoring workflows using modern tools and frameworks including Python, Dagster, and Azure Data Factory.
Support the development and optimisation of dashboards and reporting solutions across platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
Maintain high-quality documentation and governance standards to ensure traceability, reproducibility, and compliance across data assets, pipelines, and processes.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve data architecture, operational efficiency, and engineering best practices.

Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and modern data platforms.
Experience with Python, Dagster, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL is essential; familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) is advantageous.
Ability to interpret complex datasets and support the development of meaningful, insight-driven BI solutions.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex data integration and data quality challenges.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
High level of accuracy in validating data and ensuring integrity across systems.
Commitment to maintaining clear, structured documentation to support traceability and best practice.
Experience in data engineering, data management, or a related field, with hands-on expertise in data integration and pipeline development.
Industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer Associate or equivalent (desirable).
