Technical Manager – Structures

Role Overview

• lead a group of 4 to 8 engineers and detailers
• manage project production, project acquisition/client relations, and financial management
• support pursuit and marketing efforts throughout Florida
• ensure quality technical services are provided to clients
• conduct semi-annual performance reviews and annual career planning sessions
• monitor and enforce compliance with established quality control standards
• assist staff in resolving problems concerning work
• maintain visibility and professional currency by actively participating in professional and civic organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in field of practice
• Post graduate degree preferred
• Management coursework and/or MBA a plus
• 15 years of experience since B.S.
• At least three years in positions with project management or supervisory responsibilities
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage individuals and teams
• PE Required
