Act as a senior point of escalation for day-to-day administration matters and as a four-eyes signatory, ensuring adherence to company policies, professional standards and the consistent delivery of a high-quality service to clients and external stakeholders
Act as a named director on client boards, providing robust governance oversight, constructive challenge and strategic input
Attend client and intermediary meetings, both locally and in London/the wider UK, presenting administration updates and strategic insights as required
Review and interpret complex transactions, providing technical expertise and supporting informed board decision-making
Play an active role in business development, supporting new business opportunities and identifying cross-selling opportunities across the wider Ogier service offering
Maintain the highest standards of client service across the team, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, procedures and service expectations
Promote the ‘Ogier Best Way’ ethos by driving process analysis, consistency and operational alignment across the team
Lead, mentor and develop team members, acting as a line manager and supporting the ongoing training, performance and capability development of staff in line with business growth
Contribute to the wider business by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen policies and procedures, and introduce service improvements that enhance the client experience
Support the broader Fund Administration business and contribute to cross-team initiatives where required
Ensure compliance with internal anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing policies and procedures, maintaining a strong understanding of all relevant requirements
Ensure adherence to applicable jurisdictional AML and CTF regulations relevant to your role, particularly in relation to suspicious activity reporting, client due diligence and record-keeping obligations
Requirements
A strong background, with 10+ years’ experience in fund administration services
Considerable practical experience, supported by a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ICSA or STEP
Hands-on experience managing fund administration engagements
Experience acting as a director on the boards of fund administration clients
A demonstrated ability to grow client portfolios and identify new business opportunities
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to broaden service delivery
