Carrying out financial analysis and preparing financial reports for fund management, whilst ensuring accuracy and compliance with the relevant regulations
Key responsibilities include managing budgets, conducting financial research, in-depth investigations, analysing complex scenarios, creating meaningful financial reports, complying with internal controls as well as ensuring transparency and accuracy to support decision-making
Collaborating with executive leadership and accounting teams to drive financial planning and support strategic business initiatives
Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process by aligning financial targets with strategic objectives
Reviewing of processes of the fund business by comparing the contractually agreed management fees with assets under management (AuM)
Optimising departmental processes and tools through automation and the implementation of AI-powered solutions
Ad hoc projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Banking & Finance or Accounting
Professional experience in a bank’s Asset Management department, at a fund management firm, or in auditing or financial consulting at a Big Four firm
Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Team orientation with the ability to work both in the office and from home, whilst setting priorities, coordinating tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication skills to interact with teams and executives
IT skills and confidence in using accounting software and tools
