to mid-scale projects within Operations & Supply, from concept to implementation on assembly lines
Defining technical specifications and managing the acquisition of manufacturing technologies and assembly equipment (e.g., assembly line configuration, robotics, automation, adhesive technology, line layout, and material handling)
Leading equipment development and implementation to support product cost-out initiatives and new product introductions across European factories
Preparing Technical Requirement Specifications in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
Planning, coordinating, and executing projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
Solving problems and working closely with cross-functional teams
Ensuring the standardization of production lines and technical solutions across sites
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a similar field (other educational backgrounds are also welcome with relevant experience)
3+ years of experience in technical specification and acquisition of production equipment
Experience in technical project management and project planning/execution
Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and how they interconnect (big-picture thinking)
Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, adhesive technology, line layout, and material handling
Basic understanding of machine safety and the Machinery Directive
Well-developed problem-solving skills
This role requires business travel (up to 40–50 days per year)
CAD experience, preferably in machine design/construction, will be an advantage
