About this role
Role Overview
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA environments
- Develop scalable and efficient custom developments following ABAP 7.4+ coding standards and SAP Clean Core principles
- Build and optimize solutions using RAP, CDS Views, OData services, APIs, and SAP BTP technologies
- Perform code optimization and performance tuning on SAP HANA databases
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in technical design discussions, testing, deployments, and support activities
- Conduct code reviews and support junior consultants within agile project environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
- Strong expertise in ABAP 7.4+ syntax and development standards
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA optimized development, CDS Views, RAP framework, AMDP, and OData services
- Experience developing solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Solid understanding of SAP Clean Core concept and extensibility approaches
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience with performance optimization and SQL tuning on HANA
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIs
- Familiarity with object-oriented ABAP programming
- Experience working with Git/version control and transport management processes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in international project environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English.
