Role Overview
- Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at customer sites
- Conducts a variety of routine field tasks including operating specialized equipment, taking measurements, compiling data
- Performs without error in high stress environments
- Maintains maintenance logs and certification documents
- Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance
- Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
- Requires travel to a variety of remote job sites
- Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, psychological exam, and drug screen)
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge in a particular field of commonly used equipment, practices and concepts
- Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles
- Good communication and comprehension skills
- Works effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
- Awareness of industry regulations (e.g., NRC standards) and safety codes
- Requires specific technical training and certification
