Role Overview
- Manage and support enterprise database platforms across on‑premises and Azure environments
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, security, and scalability of database systems, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Perform database upgrades, schema management, and deployments
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexing strategies
- Design and implement backup strategies and recovery processes
- Manage databases across on-prem data centers and Azure SQL / Azure VMs
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience as Database Administrator
- Strong enterprise experience supporting mission-critical systems
- Proven experience in Azure cloud and hybrid environment
- Strong expertise in: Oracle (PL/SQL, RMAN, ASM), MS SQL Server (T-SQL, Always-On, Replication)
- Hands-on with Hybrid infrastructure management capabilities (Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance, SQL Server on Azure VM)
- Experience in Performance Tuning
- Backup & DR solutions
- PowerShell scripting
