Provide technical support to the Infrastructure Engineering Center for project engineering packages
Develop site specific project plans and specifications for FAA approval
Perform site surveys to collect project data and research standards
Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions from site surveys
Prepare summary trip reports within two working days of trip completion
Compile and complete project documents including scope of work, drawing lists, and engineering cost estimates
Provide technical engineering support for new construction and renovation projects
Participate in Joint Acceptance Inspections and provide resolutions
Perform engineering studies for feasibility and cost versus benefit
Develop project drawings in accordance with FAA Standards

Electrical Engineering Degree required from an ABET accredited college or university
At least 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Engineer and/or Resident Engineer with Electrical Engineering Design
Experience with establishing power systems and calculating equipment size requirements
Proficiency in creating and developing Arc flash Analysis
Proficiency in SKM Software
Experience inspecting electrical systems
Ability to travel up to 25-35% of the time
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability
