Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners
Uncover and develop new customer opportunities by articulating the value of Cohesity solutions
Lead technical sales engagements for customers, from discovery to solution validation
Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations
Create excellent technical solution proposals based on technical discovery, industry and domain expertise
Identify and proactively address technical risks to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction
Drive and execute proof of concepts (PoCs)
Assure strong pre-sales planning to enable customers to successfully integrate or extend Cohesity
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to align on customer needs

Proven experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales
Strong background in enterprise IT environments (e.g., data protection, cloud, databases, or infrastructure)
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences
Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder customer engagements
Strong understanding of competitive positioning and solution differentiation
Deep understanding of data protection, cyber resilience, or modern data platforms
Experience working in hybrid and cloud environments
Industry certifications (cloud, database, or related technologies) are a plus
Contributions to technical content such as white papers, demos, or training materials
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
