About this role
Role Overview
Drive new business origination and contribute directly to AUM growth within the insurance channel
Expand and deepen relationships with existing insurance clients, increasing wallet share and long-term partnerships
Identify and execute on cross-selling opportunities across products and strategies
Lead senior-level client engagement, including meetings with C-suite and investment decision-makers
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering market insights, portfolio perspectives, and tailored solutions
Maintain a high level of responsiveness and accountability in meeting client needs
Partner with investment, product, and distribution teams to develop and position differentiated investment solutions
Translate client demand and market trends into actionable product and go-to-market strategies
Support commercialization of new strategies and product innovations
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for growth
Use market insights and data-driven analysis to inform business strategy and client engagement
Execute against defined commercial priorities, balancing near-term results with long-term strategic positioning
Collaborate across teams to align on client strategy, product positioning, and business priorities
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment to accelerate decision-making and execution
Requirements
Experience covering or working with insurance companies, with a strong understanding of insurer investment needs
Proven track record of business development, client relationship management, or product commercialization
Knowledge of private credit and alternative investments strongly preferred
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage senior audiences
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work across complex organizations
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (CFA, MBA, FSA) preferred
