Role Overview
- Ensures that the Biostatistics department meets timelines and provide high quality deliverables.
- Oversees development of direct reports by setting goals and managing performance.
- Prioritizes activities across Biostatistics projects and facilitates resolutions to project conflicts.
- Supports the assignment of Biostatisticians to projects.
- May lead or participate in projects across multiple studies or programs.
Requirements
- Hiring, managing, and developing biostatisticians in assigned department.
- Interaction with clients and other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Developing department SOPs and guidelines.
- Responsible for staff development, training, and retention.
- Facilitates succession planning and maintains a diverse Biostatistics staff.
- Conduct senior review of project deliverables and provide training for Biostatistics associates.
