Engineer and maintain software configuration, deployment, and automation processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve recurring platform issues with scalable, long-term solutions.
Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Use AI/ML-driven approaches to optimize infrastructure utilization, workload performance, and operations.
Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and operations teams to deliver robust HPC solutions.
Deliver architecture roadmaps and projects to fulfill product rollout needs and business-driven outcomes.
Contribute to long-term architecture and implementation of GE Vernova Compute strategy.
Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
Assist in the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Coach and mentor team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 years.
5–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, or systems architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environments
(EC2, EFS, S3, Networking).
Strong background in Linux administration, automation, and software deployment.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and configuration management.
Knowledge of HPC schedulers, storage, and networking.
Proven ability to identify root causes and solve systemic technical issues.
Familiarity with applying AI/ML techniques for optimization and operational improvement.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
